Does TILLHIVE TAP require an app?

No. The person you share with doesn't need to install anything. Your profile opens in their phone's web browser.

How does NFC work?

NFC (Near Field Communication) is short-range wireless technology built into most modern smartphones. When a compatible phone is held a few centimetres from your card, it reads a link stored on the card's chip and opens your profile. The card needs no battery or charging.

Does it work with iPhone?

Yes. iPhone XS and newer models can read NFC cards without an app. Hold the top edge of the iPhone near the card while the screen is on. Older iPhones can scan the QR code instead.

Does it work with Android?

Yes, on Android phones that have NFC, which includes most current models. NFC needs to be switched on in the phone's settings, and the reading spot is usually near the centre of the back of the phone. Any Android phone can also use the QR code.

Can I update my profile?

Yes. Your profile lives online, so you can change your details whenever you need to. People see the latest version the next time they tap or scan your card.

Do I need to replace my card when my information changes?

No. The card links to your digital profile rather than storing your details directly, so the same card keeps working when your information changes.

What happens if NFC is not available?

Every TILLHIVE TAP includes a QR code. Anyone can scan it with their phone camera to open the same profile.

Can I use a QR code?

Yes. The QR code on your card opens the same digital profile as the NFC tap, so it works on phones without NFC too.

Can companies order cards for employees?

Yes. The Company Card prints your logo and website in white on a black card for each team member, and Enterprise adds a central, real-time dashboard to manage your team's cards. Contact us and we'll help you plan the right setup.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery time depends on the card type, any customisation and your location. We'll confirm an estimated delivery date when you place your order.
